Anti Doping

The Championships has always supported the principle of a fair, professional and uniform programme of drug testing to be operated throughout the game.
The Tennis Anti-Doping Programme (TADP) is operated by the International Tennis Federation (ITF). As a signatory to the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Code, the TADP has adopted WADA’s list of prohibited substances and methods. The ITF TADP is fully compliant with the WADA Code.
Competitors are warned about the risks of taking supplements.
Anti-Doping testing will be carried out at The Championships this year in accordance with the 2011 ITF Tennis Anti-Doping Programme.
Players may be notified of their selection for sample collection at any time or place. Players will normally be chaperoned from the time between notification and arrival at the Doping Control Station.
All anti-doping testing is carried out independently of the tournament organisers.
