Payroll Administrator

The All England Lawn Tennis Club (Championships) Limited is looking to recruit a Payroll Administrator to join our Finance team.

Founded in 1868, The All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) is a private members’ club which organises and stages The Championships, Wimbledon.

The Finance Department's role is to partner with the wider organisation to ensure an accurate view of costs and income is recorded and communicated to the business in an efficient and timely manner, and to ensure appropriate controls around payments, receipts and cash management.

The Finance Department processes between 500 and 2,000 supplier invoices each month from over 2,000 suppliers covering everything from buildings maintenance and brand development to horticulture and charitable donations. With group turnover of over £200m, processed in three main currencies, we generate sales invoices to partners around the world.

Working closely with the wider Finance and HR teams, the Payroll Administrator will provide a service to support around 200 (and growing) year-round staff, and will further support around 800 temporary and Championships staff. Providing a payroll service for these c.1000 staff is complex, as there is a diverse range of roles to support operations, resulting in varying terms and conditions.

This supports the AELTC's goal of delivering the world's premier tennis tournament and to support one of the world's most prestigious tennis clubs.

The AELTC is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applicants from all sections of the community. Appointments are made on merit.
