Visitor Assistant

The All England Lawn Tennis Club (Championships) Limited is looking to recruit a number of Visitor Assistants to join the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum.

Founded in 1868, The All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) is a private members’ club which organises and stages The Championships, Wimbledon.

The award-winning Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum has a collection of over 40,000 tennis artefacts and welcomes around 90,000 visitors a year. Our Tours of the Grounds are very popular with visitors. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced and passionate individuals to assist our world class visitor attraction.

The Museum’s role is to give visitors an enjoyable and informative experience. This supports the AELTC’s goal of delivering the world’s premier tennis tournament and to support one of the world’s most prestigious tennis clubs.

As a Visitor Assistant, you will ensure a seamless visitor experience by pro-actively welcoming, engaging with and informing visitors, on entry and on site. You will promote the Museum’s services, facilities and products to visitors, including current and future exhibitions, events, learning activities, tours, souvenir guidebooks and audio guides. You'll need a 'can do' attitude, experience in a customer service environment and the ability to be warm, friendly and approachable.

The AELTC is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applicants from all sections of the community. Appointments are made on merit.
