Wozniacki put out in three-set thriller

Caroline Wozniacki, the No.7 seed, lost an epic struggle under the Centre Court roof when beaten by the Austrian, Tamira Paszek, 7-5, 6-7, 6-4.
The winner of the Eastbourne tournament saved two match points in the second set before prevailing in a first round match which lasted three hours and 12 minutes.
Meanwhile, No.3 seed Agnieszka Radwanska beat Elena Vesnina 6-2, 6-1 on No.3 Court.
