Richard Lewis, Chief Executive of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, has been awarded a CBE in The Queen's Birthday Honours.

Lewis has been recognised for services to sports administration at the Rugby Football League and Sport England, where he was employed before joining the AELTC in 2012.

“It is a great privilege to have been awarded this honour," Lewis commented. "I am delighted and proud to accept it on behalf of all those with whom I have had the good fortune to work both at the Rugby Football League and Sport England.”
