Biography

Some of Jeremy Chardy's earliest tennis memories were of Wimbledon and his idol, Pete Sampras' domination at The Championships throughout the 1990s. In 2005, he followed in his hero's footsteps, at junior level, by winning the Wimbledon Boys' Singles competition. The Frenchman has been ranked as high as No.25 after reaching the quarter-finals of the 2013 Australian Open, where he lost to eventual finalist Andy Murray.
