Biography

Heading towards the twilight of his career, Russain Nikolay Davydenko has certainly maximised his talent in the men's game. After reaching a career-high ranking of number three in the world in November 2006, semi-finals at the French Open and US Open followed before he won the inaugural ATP World Tour Finals tournament at the O2 - defeating Roger Federer en-route. The 31-year-old is coached by his brother Eduard (since 1992) and works with fitness trainer Rolf Shaaf.
