Biography

Alexandr Dolgopolov started playing tennis at a young age and comes from a sporting family, with his mother, Elena, winning gold and silver gymnastic medals at the European Championships, and his father, Oleksandar, being a former player on the ATP tour and the Ukranian's coach since 2008. Dolgopolov reached the quarter-finals of the 2011 Australian Open and attained a career-best ranking of number 13 in the world in Janaury 2012.
