Biography

The Harrison household has tennis running through its veins. Ryan Harrison's father, Pat, played collegiate tennis at Oklahoma State and Mississipi before enjoying a brief professional career on the Future and Challenger circuits. Ryan's brother, Christian, is also an emerging young tennis player. Harrison is known for his big serve and explosive forehand, which has been carefully crafted at the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy since 2008. Harrison has yet to record a significant win or breakthrough in Grand Slam competition, though he is one of a new breed of American tennis players combining athleticism and power.
