Biography

Gilles Muller flies the flag for Luxembourg tennis and is the country's most successful player. He was a US Open junior champion in 2001 and broke into the world's top 50 in October 2011. His most notable performance to date was reaching the quarter-finals of the 2008 US Open as a qualifier, before losing to eventual winner Roger Federer. Muller works with physical trainer Frank Eicher, and is coached by Benoit Carelli (during tournaments) and Alexandre Lisiecki (when in Luxembourg).
