Biography

Kei Nishikori moved from Japan to the United States at the age of 14 to train at the IMG Bollettieri Academy in Florida, where he still trains. He arrived as a member of Masaaki Morita Tennis Fund group, which consists of a select few Japanese players sponsored by Sony Chief Executive, Mr. Morita. Nishikori made his debut on the ATP Tour at the age of 17 in Los Angeles. The 23-year-old's best performance in a Grand Slam to date came at the 2012 Australian Open, where he reached the quarter-final.
