Biography

Michael Russell was ranked as America's No.1 Boys under-18 player in 1996 and studied at the University of Miami before turning professional two years later. His best performance at a Grand Slam came at the 2001 French Open where he reached the fourth round. He achieved a career-high ranking of No.60 in the world in November 2007 and is one of the few tennis players to hold a college degree (Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, January, 2012).
