Biography

Lukas Rosol delivered one of tennis's biggest upsets in recent times by knocking out two-time Wimbledon champion Rafael Nadal in the second round at The 2012 Championships. That night on Centre Court, the Czech barely missed a shot in a display of powerful baseline tennis to blow away the Spaniard. Although Rosol couldn't repeat the trick in the next round, losing to Germany's Philipp Kohlschreiber, he finished 2013 in the top 50 for the first time and won his maiden ATP title in Bucharest.
