Biography

Albert Ramos idolised fellow countryman, Alex Corretja, when he was growing up, and it clear to see why the Spaniard is a clay-court specialist. Coached by Jose Maria Diaz and Noe Losmozos, he is known for his powerful forehand and play from the back of the court. Ramos reached a career-high ranking of 38 in the world in May 2012 but has not yet gone beyond the second round of a Grand Slam or won a title on the ATP Tour.
