Biography

Big-hitting Dmitry Tursonov rose to prominence during the The 2005 Championships when he knocked out British favourite Tim Henman in a gruelling five-set match on Centre Court. The Russian moved to the United States to train and realise his tennis dream when he was 12 years old, and in 2006, reached a career-high of No.20 in the Emirates ATP Tour rankings. He is based in Moscow and is coached by Vitaly Gorin.
