Biography

Janko Tipsarevic took the educational route before becoming a professional tennis player. After finishing high school, he completed university work in sports management in his home city, Belgrade, while also enjoying an outstanding junior career - winning the 2001 Australian Open Junior title. Tipsarevic has been a regular in the world's top 10 over the course of the past two years and competed in the last two ATP World Tour final events at the O2. The 28-year-old's physiotherapist is Stefan Duell and fitness trainer is Bernardo Carberol. Tipsarevic has a habit of defeating the world's best players, including his friend and fellow countryman, Novak Djokovic, on two occasions.
