Biography

The Czech Republic's Iveta Benesova began playing tennis at the age of seven and turned professional in Prague in 1998. At the 2011 Wimbledon Championships, she won the mixed doubles title with partner Jurgen Melzer, who she went on to marry the following year. She trains and lives in Most in her home country and is coached by Martin Fassati.
