Biography

Hungary's Melinda Czink was introduced to tennis at the age of 10 by her father in Budapest, and in 2009, reached her career-high singles ranking of world number 37. The left-hander is coached by Ian Barstow and Phil Dent and has won one ATP Tour singles title, defeating Lucie Safarova in Quebec City, again in 2009.
