Biography

Romina Oprandi was introduced to tennis by her brother at the age of six and is a clay court specialist, who enjoys gruelling rallies from the baseline. The 27-year-old has dual Swiss-Italian citizenship, and from 2005 to 2012 represented Italy, but she has since joined the Swiss Tennis Federation. Oprandi is coached by her brother, Romeo, and she resides in Bern, Switzerland.
