Biography

The Czech Republic's Lucie Safarova began playing tennis at the age of three and used to be coached by her father, Milan, in Brno. The 26-year-old left-hander prefers playing on clay courts and is known for her deadly forehand, and ability to exert heavy topspin on the ball. Safarova is coached by Rob Steckley.
