Biography

At The Championships in 2012, Agnieszka Radwanska became the first Polish player in the Open Era to reach the singles final of a Grand Slam, before losing to Serena Williams in the final. Radwanska began playing tennis at the age of four after being introduced to the game by her father, who was a club professional. Having made a lightning-fast start to her WTA Tour career, she reached a career-high ranking of No.4 in the world in 2013. She is coached by Tomasz Wiktorowski, and interestingly, studies tourism (when not competing) at the Polish Sport University in Krakow.
