Biography

Vesna Dolonc began to play tennis at the age of four, inspired by former Wimbledon champion, Lindsay Davenport on television. The 23-year-old was born to a Serbian father and Russian mother, but represents Serbia. Since turning professional in 2006, Dolonc has played most of her tennis on the ITF Challengers circuit, but did reach the third round of the 2011 Australian Open and a career-high ranking of 86 that same year. She resides and trains in Moscow and is coached by Martin Bohm.
