Biography

In July 2011, Petra Kvitova ensured her name will go down in Wimbledon folklore when she won the Ladies Singles title on Centre Court against Maria Sharapova. The Czech left-hander, known for her natural power, also rose to number two in the WTA rankings in the same year as her Wimbledon triumph. The 23-year-old is coached by David Kotyz and her fitness coach is Kristian Bajza.
