Biography

Japan's Misaki Doi was introduced to tennis at the age of six by her parents and has trained at the National Training Center in Tokyo since 2008. Known for her attacking, all-court game, the 22-year-old looked up to Justin Henin as an emerging player coming through the ranks. She reached her heighest WTA singles ranking of 82 in June 2012 and is coached by Natsuki Harada.
