Official Suppliers

The Club has always sought to retain the unique image and character of The Championships and has successfully achieved this over many years by developing long-term mutually beneficial Official Supplier agreements with a range of blue-chip brands, as well as specifically not commercialising the Grounds overtly.

The income from the Official Suppliers is an important part of The Championships' surplus which goes back into the development of the game of tennis through The Lawn Tennis Association.

Official Suppliers, of which there are 13 for The Championships, 2012, provide goods and services, which are both essential for the staging of The Championships, and which meet the Club's objective of improving the quality of the service provided to the players, spectators, the media and the staff involved in organising and running the event.

Now in its 110th year as the official ball supplier for the tournament, Slazenger has the longest partnership in sporting goods history.

Since 1902 Slazenger has supplied the balls for Wimbledon contenders and its team of experts work alongside the top sports scientists at Loughborough University to guarantee The All England Lawn Tennis Club's high standards are adhered to.

Slazenger will supply 52,000 balls for this year's tournament, each of which will be tested for weight, bounce and compression. Slazenger has reinforced its reputation in the tennis field with its dedication to cutting edge product design, commitment to youth development and endorsements of top international players such as Tim Henman.
