Wimbledon 2011 was the 125th staging of The Championships at The All England Lawn Tennis Club since the first tournament in 1877.

In celebration of the 125th Championships, we charted some of the most famous, and also not-so famous, memories in the history of The Championships.

From the very first Championships, to the day Centre Court was bombed, some of the characters to light up Centre Court, to the unveiling of the new roof, there have been many notable moments in Wimbledon's history. Explore them all below.
