British number one Anne Keothavong and partner Melinda Czink reached the second round of the doubles at the Grand Prix S.A.R La Princesse Lalla Meryem in Morocco when they edged a match tie-break.

Keothavong, who is ranked 110 in the world for doubles, teamed up with her Hungarian partner to beat home pair Lina Bennani and Nadia Lalami 6-0 3-6 10-6 at the Royal Tennis Club De Fes.

Keothavong takes on Maret Ani of Estonia in the first round of the singles.
