The AELTC was delighted to learn that Bob Martin picked up the 2016 Sports Book of the Year Award at SPORTEL for his book '1/1000th - The Sports Photography of Bob Martin'.
The award recognises and rewards the best illustrated sports books published over the past year, and Bob fended off stiff competition to take home the prize at the SPORTEL Award Ceremony, which was held in Monaco.
Bob, who has been in the club's employ since 2005 as The Championships' photographic manager, is a world-renowned sports photographer that has photographed every major sporting event during a career that has spanned three decades.
His book, 1/1000th, is a spectacular retrospective that showcases both his life's work and his ability to capture great sporting moments in a millisecond, and is available to purchase in the Wimbledon Shop.
This latest award only adds to the book's growing list of accolades, with Bob also winning the Best Illustrated Book award at the Cross Sports Book Awards back in June.
The AELTC would like to congratulate Bob on his fantastic acheivement.
