Victor Ionescu from Italy and Jules Garouste from France have been revealed as the 2025 victors of the second Wimbledon eChamps, presented by American Express.

Competing against more than 140,000 gamers across the world, sixteen finalists battled it out in highly competitive seeded knockout tournaments, with Garouste claiming the crown on TopSpin 2K25 and Ionescu victorious on Tennis Clash – a new gaming platform for the 2025 competition.

 

As Wimbledon eChampions, Garouste and Ionescu will enjoy the ultimate weekend experience in London next summer, which includes tickets to experience The Championships 2026 and American Express presents BST Hyde Park.

 Jules Garouste, TopSpin 2K25 winner said: “My head is a total mess right now. I'm thinking of everyone that's texting me at home saying, "You can do it." and me saying "No, I cannot do it". And now I'm holding this beautiful trophy.”

 Victor Ionescu, Tennis Clash winner commented: “I'm very happy. Honestly, if it [sic] there wasn't the same scenario in the first match versus Brad, I probably wouldn't have won today because after that I was relaxed when playing, zero stress. I played my game.”
