West Side Tennis Club:
The West Side Tennis Club was founded in 1892 to create a place where people could gather, compete, and build lasting relationships through tennis. While the Club’s grounds have hosted U.S. Open champions and legendary concerts, its legacy lives in the people who've made it their second home.
In 1923, West Side Tennis Club built America's first tennis stadium to accommodate crowds who wanted to watch great tennis.
Today, it maintains nearly 12 acres of green space for a similar reason: players and families need room to grow, play, and connect. The 38 courts across grass, clay, and hard surfaces provide variety for members at every skill level.
Whether you're picking up a racquet for the first time or you've played for decades, you'll find courts and programs that match where you are.
New York Junior Tennis League:
The mission of New York Junior Tennis & Learning (NYJTL) is to develop the character of young people through tennis and education for a lifetime of success on and off the court. Since 1971, NYJTL has changed lives through tennis, education, healthy living, and character development programs. Today, it is the largest youth tennis and education non-profit in the nation, reaching more than 90,000 K-12 New York City youth.
NYJTL provides after school programming in approximately 30 schools and community tennis programming at approximately 40 sites throughout New York City in the summer months and at additional sites that operate during the school year. In addition, NYJTL designed, funded (with NYC), built and operates the NYJTL Cary Leeds Center for Tennis & Learning, where it provides free and commercial tennis programming year-round as well as life skills, character development and healthy living lessons. All NYJTL community tennis and after school programs are offered at no cost to its participants.

USTA Eastern:
The USTA Eastern Section, currently based in Purchase, N.Y., is a not-for-profit community service organization whose mission is to grow tennis to inspire healthier people and communities.
USTA Eastern is thrilled to be able to invite New York City-based adult social tennis organizations, most of which were founded in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic when people were looking to make connections and either get back into tennis or try the sport for the first time.
