La Roche-Posay, the No.1 dermatologist-recommended sun protection brand in Great Britain*, is proud to announce its role as the exclusive suncare supplier for The Championships, Wimbledon.
THE PARTNERSHIP
As the summer season begins, La Roche-Posay and The All England Lawn Tennis Club have joined together to help tennis fans enjoy one of the world’s most iconic events, while at the same time raising awareness of the importance of sun protection and skin health.
La Roche-Posay has spent more than 50 years safeguarding skin health through dermatological expertise and scientific innovation and will now be the exclusive suncare supplier for The Championships, Wimbledon.
The partnership comes at a critical time for public health. Melanoma rates in the UK have increased by approximately 30% over the past decade, yet an estimated 90% of melanoma cases are preventable through behaviours such as effective sun protection and avoiding excessive UV exposure.
As one of the UK's most celebrated outdoor sporting events, Wimbledon welcomes hundreds of thousands of spectators during the height of summer. Through this relationship, La Roche-Posay aims to make sun protection more accessible while encouraging healthier sun-safe behaviours among tennis fans and the wider public.
Across the Fortnight, La Roche-Posay expects to distribute more than 500,000 sunscreen samples, helping visitors protect their skin while increasing awareness of the importance of daily UV protection. Guests will also have access to expert-led skin health education and complimentary consultations with qualified dermatologists, reinforcing the brand's longstanding commitment to prevention, education and accessible skin health support.
ABOUT ANTHELIOS
At the heart of La Roche-Posay's sun protection expertise is the Anthelios range, including Anthelios UVMUNE 400 Invisible Fluid SPF50+ and Anthelios UVMUNE 400 Invisible Spray SPF50+, powered by Mexoryl 400, the brand's patented UV filter technology designed to protect against ultra-long UVA rays.
The Championships, Wimbledon will also see the launch of the new Anthelios UV Sport range. Developed in collaboration with athletes and dermatologists, the collection has been engineered to deliver high-performance protection in demanding sporting environments, helping skin withstand the challenges of heat, sweat, movement and prolonged sun exposure. Designed for both athletes and active spectators, the range reflects La Roche-Posay's commitment to creating sun protection solutions that perform when it matters most.

Through its partnership with Wimbledon, La Roche-Posay is reinforcing its mission to make effective sun protection and skin health education accessible to all.
