Advice on bringing young children to The Championships
Babies and children under five
We welcome children of all ages to Wimbledon and look forward to creating an exciting and memorable experience for them.
Please note that a ticket is not required for children under the age of five and they are welcome to enjoy the activities around the Grounds. However, they are not allowed into Show Courts (Centre Court, No.1, No.2, No.3, 12 and 18).
There are a number of baby changing facilities available, please see the map for details. Our guests are welcome to breastfeed anywhere on site.
Children over five and under 16
A ticket (full price) is required.
All children must attend with an adult and be supervised appropriately.
Children over five and under the age of 16 are allowed into all courts accompanied by an adult providing they have their own seat.
Family activities around the Grounds
- Pick up a copy of ‘Explore Wimbledon’, a fun activity booklet designed to keep the whole family entertained as you navigate the Grounds. Available from Information Points and the Wimbledon Foundation kiosk adjacent to Court 15.
- Visit Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum, the world’s largest tennis museum. Here you can learn about the history and traditions of The Championships and its players from the last 150 years. Through interactive galleries, videos, costume displays and games you can see The Championships up close, learn how Wimbledon’s distinctive grass is cared for and test your own reaction skills on the interactive Batak Wall.
- Discover the heritage and magic of the site as you search for Wimbledon stars ‘Blade and Bounce’ around the Grounds.
- Capture your day with a memorable photo at the Wimbledon Foundation kiosk.
- Head to the Southern Village to test your skills in a range of exciting interactive partner activations or to relax and watch the tennis on the big screen.
