Welcome to Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum, the world’s largest tennis museum.
Our collection contains more than 50,000 objects which tell the story of the history of lawn tennis; from its origins as a trendy Victorian pastime to the world-class tennis tournament that is The Championships.
On your visit, you will have the chance to…
You won’t want to miss it!
Do you live in Merton or Wandsworth and have children under the age of five?
Our first ever Early Years Programme offers families a unique opportunity to discover the magic of Wimbledon through storytelling, singing, movement and arts and crafts.
The 45-minute sessions will take place on the first Wednesday of the month.
With new added stops, we have a multimedia adventure for our family visitors. On your journey you will get the chance to invent your own sport, create a signature Wimbledon ice cream, and even mow the Centre Court grass. But most importantly, you must help Ella the Engraver to find the lost pieces of the Challenge Cup around the Museum before it’s too late! Are you ready?
Our resident bird scarer, Rufus the Hawk, has escaped Centre Court and is on the loose in the Museum! Can you spot him? Follow the clues to meet some famous faces and learn about the story of Wimbledon.
