Rules and Regulations

Event Location: Entry to the event is located on the east side of Wollman Rink off of 5th Avenue on the southeast side of Central Park.

Event Address: Wollman Rink (830 5th Avenue, New York, NY 10065)

Exhibition Match:

• Gates open at 11:00 am, ticket holders may arrive after gates have opened. Ticket holders should arrive at least one hour before the match begins..

• Guests deemed a “no show” may forfeit their ticket.

• A “no show” status may be assigned if the ticket holder has not arrived within 60 minutes prior to the exhibition match start time; i.e. the start of opening ceremonies.

• Seats are not guaranteed, a select number of seats will be available on a first come first served basis

Bookable Sessions:

• If an attendee has secured a coveted on court session, they should arrive 60 minutes prior to the scheduled time. Time allowance should be given to enter, check-in with guest services, and travel to the Grass Court.

• Guests deemed a “no show” may forfeit their session.

• A “no show” status may be assigned if efforts have been made by event organizers to contact the attendee, and the attendee has failed to confirm their attendance in a reasonable time frame.

Ticket Policy: The events are rain or shine. In the event of severe weather or unsafe conditions, event operations may be delayed, modified, or canceled at the discretion of event organizers. The event will not be rescheduled to another date. All entries are subject to capacity constraints prescribed by NYC DOB guidance, if such capacity is met, entry will not be permitted until conditions allow.

Tickets are non-transferable.

Entry Policy:

All onsite entries from Saturday, June 27 through Monday, June 29, 2026 are open to the public and subject to capacity. Entry is not guaranteed.

Bookable Sessions:

Session attendees should check-in at the designated entry area with name, email, and government issued ID to proceed into Wimbledon Village and onto the Grass Court.

Bookable Session & Exhibition Match Policy:

• All attendees must present a valid ticket for entry or be included on an approved list.

• Entry may be refused if a ticket is damaged, invalid, or if the event has reached capacity.

• Re-entry is not allowed

General Re-Entry Policy: Outside of Bookable Sessions and Exhibition Match, attendees may re-enter the grounds if they complete the rescreening process and capacity allows. Subject to the discretion of event organizers.

Age Restrictions: Guests must be 18 years or older to attend. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.

General Conduct:

• Attendees are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and orderly manner at all times.

• Harassment, discrimination, or any form of unwelcome behavior will not be tolerated.

• The use of abusive or harmful language directed to staff or fellow attendees is prohibited.

Permitted:

• Sunscreen

• Sunglasses

• Hat

• A reusable water bottle ( refillable water stations will be available)

• Comfortable shoes

• Your phone /portable charger

• Credit Card and/or Cash

• Non-professional film and digital cameras

• Hydration packs are allowed and do not need to be clear, but must be emptied of all liquid and have no more than two pockets in addition to the one holding the water reservoir.

• Small bags or backpacks/fanny packs that are 6" x 9" or smaller do not need to be clear but can have no more than one pocket.

• All other bags larger than 6" x 9" must be smaller than 12" x 16" x 12" and clear.

• Exceptions will be made for tennis racquets

• Strollers are not permitted in Wimbledon Village, but can be brought into the Wollman Rink Clubhouse
  
  

Not Permitted:

• The use of cigarettes or electronic cigarettes

• Glass containers

• Outside food and beverages (food and beverages will be sold inside Wollman Rink’s Clubhouse and within Wimbledon Village)

• Illegal substances (City, State, Federal )

• Weapons of any kind

• Fireworks/explosives

• Pets (service animals permitted)

• Large coolers or oversized bags

• Professional cameras or audio/video equipment (no detachable lenses, no tripods, big zooms, or commercial use rigs)

• Drones or hover cameras

• Large Umbrellas (personal-sized are okay)

• Hardback chairs / lawn furniture

• Picnic blankets

• Totems of any kind (this includes flag poles and heavy sticks)

• Instruments

• Chains/Chain Wallets

• Selfie Sticks

• Laser pointers

• Unauthorized/unlicensed vendors or performers

• Any bag exceeding 40cm x 30cm x 30cm (16” x 12” x 12”);

• Hard-sided containers/bags – such as picnic hampers or cool boxes;

• Vacuum flasks or dual skin liquid containers over 500ml, camping chairs or other items of dual skin or tubular construction;

• Excessive electronic devices and accessories including camera lenses more than 300mm in length when extended, tripods or monopods

• Large flags (over 60cm x 60cm (2’ x 2’)), banners, rattles, klaxons or oversized hats

• Wheeled footwear or other equipment, including but not limited to scooters and bicycles, skateboards or personal motorized vehicles

• Any item which, in the opinion of the event organizer, may pose a hazard to the safe delivery of the event. This would include any item that could be used as a potential weapon, compromise public safety, or be used to sabotage or damage the event organizer’s property. Examples of these items would include, but not be limited to sharp or pointed objects such as knives or large corkscrews, personal protection sprays, flares, spray paint or other hazardous liquids or gases

Court Liability Release:

All attendees participating in any tennis court activities must sign a liability waiver. Those who fail to sign the form can not participate.

Photo/Video Release: Attendees may be photographed or filmed during the event. By entering the venue the attendee consents to the use of their image and likeness for promotional purposes.

(Release language will be posted at entry points)

Violation or non compliance of rules outlined will result in denied entry or removal.

Lost or Stolen Items:

A small selection of lockers will be provided for the convenience of attendees; however, the event organizers accept no liability for any lost, stolen, or damaged items stored within the lockers. Users are responsible for securing their belongings and must ensure their lockers are properly closed and locked. Any loss or theft should be immediately reported to venue staff. By utilizing the lockers, attendees acknowledge and agree to this policy.

Concessions:

An array of British-inspired fare will be available for purchase. Wollman Rink’s standard fare will also be available for purchase. There will be alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase, attendees must be 21 years of age to purchase alcoholic beverages, valid government issued ID must be presented for age verification.

Merchandise:

A selection of official Wimbledon merchandise will be available for purchase. All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be permitted.

Attire: Attendees should not wear objects or clothing bearing (as shall be determined at the event organizer’s reasonable discretion) political statements, objectionable or offensive statements, or commercial identification intended for ‘ambush marketing’, including items or objects given away as part of a promotional or marketing campaign by third parties inside the event

• Language: Clothing with profanity, slurs, or derogatory terms.

• Imagery: Graphics or symbols associated with hate speech, violence, or intolerance.

Rules: The rules and regulations are subject to the laws of the City and State of New York

Transportation: All attendees are advised to use public transportation, as the park has no dedicated parking lot.

Rideshare:

For easiest access to the event, please navigate to West 59th Street and Center Drive, adjacent to the José Julián Martí Statue or East 59th Street and 5th Avenue, New York, NY 10019. Follow event staff guidance to the rink entrance. Due to traffic and park activity, rideshare pick-up or drop-off locations may be subject to change. Please follow staff directions and posted signage when departing.

• Please allow for a short walk through Central Park to reach the Wollman Rink Entrance
